I've spent twenty-five years building things that run quietly in the background. Most of that was technology transformation, infrastructure and endpoint security — modernising workplace platforms, hardening Windows and Mac estates, and automating the tedious parts out of existence. The kind of work that's invisible when it's done well.
My most recent enterprise work covered endpoint engineering across a multi-country regulated estate: Windows, macOS, Intune, Jamf, Autopilot, identity, DLP and security tooling. I am at my best taking a fragmented platform, setting a clear standard, and making it secure, repeatable and easier to support at scale.
I also build focused, secure software for a small number of organisations that need to replace a poor-fit SaaS tool. That security background is the reason to trust what I build: I know what a system should hold, and what it shouldn't. The Arts Hub is the live proof of it, and I also build Patched.
On the side: a small VPS, a stack of self-hosted agents, local LLMs running alongside hosted frontier models. I write up the patterns as they settle — here, and on Substack.
